Unique communication programme designed by 9.9 School of Convergence

When all media schools are busy collaborating with international media houses, 9.9 School of Convergence is working on a different level altogether. Having gained its reputation as one of the premier media schools of the country, 9.9 School of Convergence now launches a programme called the “Global Media and Communication Programme” which is first of its kind. Structured to be covered within a 8-weeks tenure, the programme’s primary objective is to bring about a social and cultural awareness among international students regarding Indian media.

Students enrolled to the programme will be forwarded opportunities to do an international media internship and will be introduced to a comprehensive media course which will enable them to understand the global mass media scenario better. To have a blend of practical with the theoretical, students will further be taken to excursions and trips and will be trained to locate individual experiences to larger frameworks of society.
The course is designed with utmost care keeping in mind the Indian media industry within the context of globalization. The 8 week programme is to be extended to an optional 2-week learning tour to supplement the programme further. The most important part of the course would be receiving the reviews, opinions, criticisms and general level of advice and feedback from the mentors, and this is where the programme becomes unique.
